Hey sup dudes… as my title says Im looking for somebody who wants to be my “penpal” with Korean and Korean culture itself. I met this amazing culture long time ago and I learned a lot of its culture between those years, from how to drink in front of an adult to how to read and write.
My Korean is worst than basic, I read very slow and I dont undestand shit when Im reading, but that’s a technique I wanna use… basically I wanna learn how to read fast, then mastering that by reading lyrics while singing at the “norebang” or karaoke, but at the same time learning as many words I can (with flash cards by the moment). I wanna worry about the grammar later.
What I am looking is somebody willing to show me Korea as it is… its culture, cities, food, education, best jobs, what they thing about foreigners, racism, politics, religion, all of it… and in return I will do the same with my country and helping them with English and even Spanish. But why? well, I got a fantastic offer to go to Korea next year but I have to leave my country and start a new life there. I did it once so I can do it twice, but at least before I knew a lil bit of the city prior deciding to go. Going to Korea in a trip is very expensive and long.. (almost 1200 dollars and 12 hours flying) so instead of that I wanna know about it from here with pics, videos, commentaries or any other way of communication.
I even find myself more interested in Korea than a lot of Koreans… I guess the same thing happen with somebody else who likes Guatemala. I went to cyworld and I even have my profile there but its not the same. I know somebody is willing to go out in his or her daily life and take pictures of everything, just for me. I will do the same in returd, with gratitude and a big ass smile on my corrugated face… ^^
